The well-positioned location allows easy access to hill towns and Siena. The large pool is super refreshing and the villa's secluded location provides a peaceful escape. Charming Tuscan-style apartments: Our apartment at Antico Borgo Poggiarello was like stepping into a rustic dream. The original Tuscan furnishings gave it a unique and cozy atmosphere.
Pool closed for the season: Unfortunately, the outdoor pool was already closed for the season, which was a bit of a disappointment.

The views from our terrace were spectacular!! The tuscan hillsides, including San Giminanno from afar were so picturesque it was hard to beleve we were looking at it for real. The estate is absolutely wonderful, charming and quite beautiful.
The roads in Italy are not clearly marked, making it slightly difficult to find. . . and when you do, the road up to the estate is tiny, steep and winding, all the way to the end. But worth it!

Situated in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, within easy reach by car of Siena and Florence. Nearby is the medieval hill fortress and small town of Monteriggioni, which is stunning. The staff are family related and keen to please. The evening, four course meal is excellent. Home-cooked local produce is well prepared and presented. The desserts are particularly good. The pool and grounds are excellent.
The rooms are a little sparsely furnished, and the bedrooms lack mirrors. The sun-loungers are not too comfortable (although typical of Italian resorts).

Fantastic location with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Charming and cozy suites with all the necessary amenities.- Set dinner with homemade, local ingredients was absolutely delicious
Limited directions to the hotel, making it slightly difficult to find. WiFi was sometimes unreliable.

The staff are not nice, they love money so much. If there are salt, sugar and pepper in the kitchen, it will be much more convenient. When we want to borrow some sugar, salt and pepper, they costed us eur5. Some tea pack can be also served in the apartment for a warmer welcome to the customers.

In a remote location, would be hard to find without a GPS. Nicely restored old farm houses. Excellent breakfast and dinner, although expensive for a family as children are charged the same price as adults.

The scenery was unreal, like something out of a movie. We explored Monteriggioni and had a blast horse riding in Staggia. The Roman bath was the ultimate way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Plus, the food was to die for! We indulged in the best Italian food ever, and the wine list was on point. And let's not forget about Ciro the dog, he was the best company!
That there weren't many nightlife options nearby. We wished there was a cool bar or club where we could dance the night away.

The apartment had a large kitchen and a cozy living room with a comfortable double sofa bed. As someone who enjoys cooking and spending time with friends, this setup was perfect for me. I felt right at home!
Personally, I would have preferred a separate living room with a sofa bed. However, I understand that some guests may appreciate having the living room combined with the kitchen.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming rustic getaway nestled in a serene nature preserve. the friendly owners made us feel right at home. the highlight for us, as vegetarians, was the option to cook in our accommodation and enjoy our meals in the private outdoor eating area. the food at the on-site restaurant was also excellent, with delicious vegetarian options available. the stunning views of the Tuscan countryside from the property and the large swimming pool were a real treat. We also appreciated the convenient location for exploring hill towns and Siena, making it the perfect base for our adventures.
We felt incredibly welcome throughout our stay and have no complaints whatsoever. the father and son owners were not only nice but also very congenial, ensuring that our time at the villa was enjoyable and memorable.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Italian agriturismo nestled in the Tuscan countryside. The views from my apartment were absolutely breathtaking, with personal sunsets over Tuscany every evening. The family who runs the property was friendly and welcoming, and the Italian dinner served on the stone patio was delicious. The highlight of my stay was definitely the authentic antique Roman bath whirlpool. The property also had a fantastic pool that was a hit with my teenagers. I highly recommend this agriturismo for a truly special and memorable experience.
